Dr. Primm has dreamed of being a veterinarian since the age of five. She grew up in Chattanooga, graduating from Girls Preparatory School, going on to accept an academic scholarship from Mississippi State University where she completed a degree in Biological Sciences as well as her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Primm is proud to be the Nation’s 1st certified Fear Free(sm) Professional and is now Elite Fear Free Certified. Dr. Primm is also a CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) which indicates special training and specialization in making sure that Applebrook is well run and a good value for our clients.
Applebrook Animal Hospital is a dream come true for Dr. Primm and she will laugh and say that it is built of her “blood, sweat and tears”.
She and her husband, Shane, take care of 1 human child, Will, and two furry babies: a cat (Scamper) and a dog (Skye). Dr. Primm knows the challenges of keeping fur-friends happy and healthy. Helping pets and people is her passion and her mission, loving the job is an extra bonus!

Dr. Pepper wanted to come to Applebrook because he embraces the Fear Free philosophy. He also graduated from Mississippi State University where he completed a degree in Biological Sciences as well as Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. As a grad student, he was also a fellow in Anesthesiology, a skill he brings to Applebrook and all his veterinary work today. He and his wife, Susan, moved here from Starkville, MS with their 6 dogs and cat.
He says that he loves his job and is excited to make all of our patients and clients happy, healthy and Fear Free!
Dr. Mays has worked at Applebrook as a relief vet over the years and she fits in purr-fectly! We are so excited to add her as a permanent Applebrook veterinarian! Dr. Mays loves pets and people alike and prides herself on excellent client education and communication. She values the relationships that she builds with pet owners so that she can be a part of the pets’ health care team!
Dr. LeeAnn Pack grew up in Northeast Arkansas and worked as a human radiology technologist before entering veterinary school. She received her DVM from Louisiana State University, and completed a one-year large animal internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), Prince Edward Island, Canada. Dr. Pack then completed a diagnostic imaging residency at the University of Georgia in 2001. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR). As a board certified radiologist, Dr. Pack consults with us on all of our radiographs and provides a diagnostic report to provide the highest standard of care for Applebrook patients.
Donna is our office manager. She has a previous career in the production industry, but has always had a passion for animals and is a valued member of our team.
Taylor is in charge of the care and happiness of our boarding pets and she makes sure that we have all the stock that we need to take the best care of our patients. She always has a smile and loves animals!
Kristen is an important player on our team. With emergency room experience, she brings a-meow-zing technical skills and with her terrier-ific attitude, she makes us all better!
Nicole came to us with experience loving pets, both her own and those she cares for medically. She is commited to best practioce care, like the rest of our staff. Come and meet her and see her fabulous smile!
We are very happy to add Candace to our team. She is currently enrolled in the program to get her associates degree in veterinary technology and has years of experience in the field already!
Skye is a rescued Standard Poodle who lives with Dr. Primm. She is certified Canine Good Citizen and has represented Applebrook in many community activities.
