Dr. Primm has dreamed of being a veterinarian since the age of five. She grew up in Chattanooga, graduating from Girls Preparatory School, going on to accept an academic scholarship from Mississippi State University where she completed a degree in Biological Sciences as well as her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Primm is proud to be the Nation’s 1st certified Fear Free(sm) Professional and is now Elite Fear Free Certified. Dr. Primm is also a CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) which indicates special training and specialization in making sure that Applebrook is well run and a good value for our clients.
Applebrook Animal Hospital is a dream come true for Dr. Primm and she will laugh and say that it is built of her “blood, sweat and tears”.
She and her husband, Shane, take care of 1 human child, Will, and two furry babies: a cat (Scamper) and a dog (Skye). Dr. Primm knows the challenges of keeping fur-friends happy and healthy. Helping pets and people is her passion and her mission, loving the job is an extra bonus!
